Entry Requirements
This course is suitable for sixth year pupils who have obtained either an A or B pass in Higher Biology or Higher Human Biology
All senior pupils have deadlines which they are required to meet on a regular basis, in order to meet the requirements of the course. Failure to do so will result in referral to the Faculty Head and could result in withdrawal from the course.

Progression
A pass in Advanced Higher Biology is useful for anyone wishing to study Biology courses at University. A pass in Advanced Higher Biology would also be helpful to anyone contemplating degree level study in Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Radiography, Forensic science and Psychology among others.

Component 1 - Question paper
100 marks 3 hours — one question paper section 1: 20 marks (multiple choice) section 2: 80 marks (structured items) |
Component 2 - Project
30 marks 25% of overall mark Completed independently |
